Patent Search
Indonesia’s first Patent Law No. 6 of 1989 went into
effect on August 1, 1991. At the same time, the Indonesian
Patent Office has begun to accept the patent application and
utility model application. Hence, the filling date of first
patent application and utility model application in Indonesia
is on August 1, 1991. In view of the above, the search period
for patent and utility model search are available from August
1, 1991.
We conduct the patent search
for existing patent/utility model applications or registration
information by condition as follows :
1. A search using free text. The “Free Text” field
allows you to find the patents/simple patents or the filed
applications with any keywords. The System will conduct the
searches for all data on the database.
2. A search can be conducted based on the applicant names,
application no., title of inventions. I.P.C. numbers, filling
date, patent numbers or foreign patent application/number
(for patent equivalent search).
